About

Adam Sass is a 24 year old trumpet player and one of the newest trumpeters on the Swedish jazz scene. After playing a few concerts of his own music around Sweden (Ystad Sweden Jazz Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival, Malmö Live RYMD 2022) he has recorded the debut album of his band ”People In Orbit”, which will be released in 2023. His inspirations draw from modern jazz, progressive rock and classical music and together it creates an energetic and powerful sound. Adam Sass has already had the opportunity to work with musicians such as Lisen Rylander, Samuel Hällkvist, Svante Henryson, Per Thornberg, Karin Nakagawa, Suranjana Ghosh, Lisa Nordström, Peter Hammill, Mathias Landaeus and is also playing frequently with bands such as Floats, BEQ, Vidar Orchestra and Isildurs Bane.
