About

Adam Sass is a 25 year old trumpet player and one of the newest trumpeters on the Swedish jazz ​scene. After playing a few concerts of his own music around Sweden (Ystad Sweden Jazz ​Festival, Stockholm Jazz Festival, Malmö Live RYMD 2022) he has recorded the debut album of ​his band ”People In Orbit”, which was released in 2023 on Prophone, Naxos. His inspirations ​draw from modern jazz, progressive rock and classical music and together it creates an energetic ​and powerful sound. Adam Sass has already had the opportunity to work with musicians such ​as Lisen Rylander, Samuel Hällkvist, Svante Henryson, Per Thornberg, Karin Nakagawa, ​Suranjana Ghosh, Lisa Nordström, Peter Hammill, Mathias Landaeus and is also playing ​frequently with bands such as Floats, BEQ, Vidar Orchestra and Isildurs Bane.
